Cake day!!!

Today was my birthday.  I thank all who came to celebrate with me.  The highlight of family parties is usually watching the neices and nephews do foolish and loud things and being happy that they get to go to someone else's house after we're done.  Then this cake came out.

This is a Chepumple Monster Pie Cake.

Its the Turducken of cakes.  There is so much tastey goodness in here it should be outlawed.  Who knows it might be.  Posting this blog may lead to the authorities coming to my house and confiscating the remains of the cake and making me run on my treadmill.  Three layers of varying cake flavors with different pies baked inside is a work of true genious.  Chocolate with cherry pie inside; followed by a spice cake with an apple pie inside; followed by a yellow cake with a pumpkin pie inside; all topped off with cream cheese icing.  Who ever thought of this dessert deserves an award.  Or a court date. Or both.

The memory of this fantastic cake will continue to warm my days from now on.  It will have to, because my wife has declared she will never try to make it again.

My Mess

Here is  my work station at the back of my classroom.  You should feel jealous that you're not surrounded by all this awesomeness while you work.  I've noticed in situations like this that I have a hoarding gene.  I keep things.  Papers. Toys. Pens.  Anything that I feel I might need later I set downn beside my computer. (Usually because that was the first place I went after I was handed the item)  I know I should clean up but I can still find space to work so I'll keep it like this for now.  Besides I like to think the disorganization scares away the faint of heart.

Yes that is a caramel apple and a light sabre!
